"Blow winds and crack your cheeks" King Lear
Whether we like the new wind turbines or not (the battle rages on and on, on that one) we can't deny that there is something fascinating about them. They have inspired artists, poets, writers, architects, toy makers etc etc.

The cat puppet above is made from a milk container base and the character below (we call her 'Marg') from a margarine container and cereal packets.

We're going to be busy with our new puppet designs - that's Alex by the way - nice T-shirt! Of course our usual activities are still available. Take a peak below.

Kando In Action
Olympic / Jubilee Magic!
KanDo are proud to present two new magic shows. 'Olympic Magic' celebrates the olympic ideal and promotes caring and sharing, healthy eating and exercise.
Fun Magic with a right royal theme. Fast paced show which borders on the regal.
You'll find them both in the magic menu above or click on the pic.

Youth Speak 2012
It was a very special occasion at Mosley Mill in Newtownabbey near Belfast this April. The Mill that is occupied by Newtownabbey Borough Council, hosted the 13th Youth Speak , a public speaking competition for school children.

One of the talented winners
Children all across Northern Ireland had entered the competition in which the participants put together a short talk about environmental matters. The standard was very high and those that made it through to the finals at the Mill were exceptional. KanDo had been invited to entertain and inform with some Recycle Magic, circus and puppetry.

A spot of juggling
(Still Here!)
'Mitsy' the adorable wee character below, has been so popular we've decided to keep her on the front page for a little while longer. To find out how to make her just click on the pic or the title above.
She's one of the easiest puppets to make. Simple yet so dynamic. 'Mitsy' can sit, stand on her back legs and even walk down your arm. How do you make the legs? You don't! You'll find them inside your glove. Have you put your 'finger' on it yet?
